CANCÚN, Quintana Roo, lunes 06/12/21.- La ruta del Rally Maya México este 2022 volverá a territorio quintanarroense después de su paso por Yucatán en las etapas 2 y 3, para concluir el paso del museo rodante en la Riviera Maya en el mes de mayo, donde tendremos al campeón de la octava edición.
En la etapa 1, la ciudad de Cancún vivirá el inicio del placer de viajar en el tiempo, para la etapa 2 la caravana de vehículos antiguos se adentrará a Yucatán, donde también tendremos la etapa 3 y para la etapa 4, las joyas automotrices se despedirán de Yucatán y volverán a Quintana Roo recorriendo más de una decena de localidades.
La cuarta etapa saldrá de Uxmal rumbo a Santa Elena, para pasar por Ticul y de ahí hacia Postunich, Yotholin y Oxkuzcab, continuando la ruta con destino a Akil, pasando por Tekax, Ticum, Tzucacab y al transitar por Catmis terminar tomando el entronque a la derecha hacia Dziuchérumbo, Justicia Social y Dziuché, teniendo una parada en Kantemó, donde los participantes se detendrán para visitar la cueva de las serpientes colgantes.
De Dziuché saldrán con destino a La presumida y de ahí hacia José María Morelos donde harán una parada más para las Actividades Culturales preparadas, así como la parte de responsabilidad social. Posteriormente se enfilarán fijando trayecto a Polyuc, San Luis, Betania, Chunhuas y ahí tomar el libramiento de Felipe Carrillo Puerto pasando por Chunyaxché, llegar a Tulum, pasar por Akumal, Puerto Aventuras y terminar en la Riviera Maya.
Así culminarán los participantes su último tramo de recorrido, para que al día siguiente se tenga la cena de premiación y clausura, que será donde conoceremos al ganador del corazón del rally maya en esta edición 2022.
“Estamos ultimando detalles, el 2021 significó un gran reto por lo que vivimos, afortunadamente contamos con el respaldo y aval tante de federaciones, como de patrocinadores, entes gubernamentales y de salud, pero sobre todo la confianza de los competidores, que acatando también las medidas de salud y seguridad lograron vivir una experiencia sin igual e inolvidable, sabemos que la octava edición los maravillará aún más” comentó Benjamín de la Peña CEO y fundador del Rally Maya México.
ACERCA DEL RALLY MAYA MÉXICO
El Rally Maya conocido también por ser un “museo sobre ruedas” entre los amantes de los autos, se quiere mostrar como una oportunidad única de conocer la riqueza natural, cultural, gastronómica y arqueológica del mundo maya. Durante la competencia más de 100 tripulaciones, procedentes de México, Europa, Centroamérica y Sudamérica realizarán tránsitos y regularidades, probando la habilidad del piloto y copiloto para mantener con toda precisión las velocidades preestablecidas en un tiempo determinado.
Para esta competencia los automóviles deben tener más de 40 años de antigüedad y tener un 90 por ciento de originalidad para poder participar dentro de una de las tres categorías de antigüedad: vehículos fabricados de 1915 a 1949 en la categoría “A”, para la categoría “B” los autos de 1950 a 1969 y de 1970 a 1980 en la categoría “C”.

Cancun will see the start of the more than 100 participants and the Riviera Maya will welcome them back to finish the route.
This year’s route will be divided into four stages for the three categories.
In the seventh edition, 15 cars participated in Category A (1900-1949).
It is expected for this 2022 to surpass the 12 entities from where the participants come from.
Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexico (December 6, 2021) – The route of the Rally Maya Mexico this 2022 will return to Quintana Roo territory after passing through Yucatan in stages 2 and 3, to conclude the passage of the rolling museum in the Riviera Maya in the month of May, where we will have the champion of the eighth edition.
In stage 1, the city of Cancun will experience the beginning of the pleasure of traveling back in time, for stage 2 the caravan of antique vehicles will enter Yucatan, where we will also have stage 3 and for stage 4, the automotive jewels will say goodbye to Yucatan and return to Quintana Roo touring
The fourth stage will leave Uxmal towards Santa Elena, passing through Ticul and from there to Postunich, Yotholin and Oxkuzcab, continuing the route towards Akil, passing through Tekax, Ticum, Tzucacab and passing through Catmis, finishing by taking the junction to the right towards Dziuchérumbo, Justicia Social and Dziuché, with a stop in Kantemó, where the participants will stop to visit the cave of the hanging snakes.
From Dziuché they will leave for La presumida and from there to José María Morelos where they will make one more stop for the Cultural Activities prepared, as well as the part of social responsibility. Afterwards they will head towards Polyuc, San Luis, Betania, Chunhuas and then take the highway to Felipe Carrillo Puerto passing through Chunyaxché, arrive in Tulum, pass through Akumal, Puerto Aventuras and finish in the Riviera Maya.
This is how the participants will finish their last stretch of the route, so that the following day they will have the awards and closing dinner, which will be where we will know the winner of the heart of the Mayan rally in this 2022 edition.

The Rally Maya México, also known as a “museum on wheels” among car lovers, is a unique opportunity to get to know the natural, cultural, gastronomic and archaeological richness of the Mayan world. During the competition, more than 100 crews from Mexico, Europe, Central and South America will perform transits and regularities, testing the ability of the driver and co-driver to accurately maintain the pre-established speeds in a given time.
For this competition, cars must be more than 40 years old and have 90 percent originality in order to participate in one of the three age categories: vehicles manufactured from 1915 to 1949 in category “A”, for category “B” cars from 1950 to 1969 and from 1970 to 1980 in category “C”.
